It’s never easy to cut chicken meat with bones or similar food that is hard. A common method is to hold the knife with one hand while beating the spine of the knife repeatedly with the other. However, this can be painful and can even leave marks on the hand. A pad moulding for the spine of the knife is introduced to alleviate such discomfort. The pad moulding is made of a PVC and NBR blend that performs well to resist oil, chemicals and heat. The characteristic of this material is similar to that of rubber and the pad will cushion the impact of the hand on the knife’s spine, thus making it a simple and effective way to protect the hand.
