Porcelain used to be collected and admired by only the wealthy, and therefore, it has always been a symbol of fame and wealth. Delicate and fragile, porcelain is nor usable or recyclable once it cracks during the production. On the contrary, bamboo is raw and rustic — widely used to produce a variety of household goods, and speaks the farmers’ spirit of toughness and durability. Combining the two materials with the traditional bamboo weaving technique, the once-broken vases are repaired and transformed into new objects. Every single object created from this process will be one-of-a-kind.
