Inspired by Bauhaus style, the Air Player was designed to be functional and stylish. With a modern slim box shape, it looks similar to a DVD player. It does not emit movies however, but fresh clean air. Unlike vertically shaped air purifiers, Air Player has a flat proportion and can be safely and efficiently stored anywhere without occupying much indoor space.
Air Player integrates the latest invention from TIHE: LCD (Low-temperature Catalytic Decomposition) technology. The LCD technology can be activated at room temperature without the need for a high temperature, ozone, or ultraviolet light. The process does not produce further pollutants. It involves the decomposition of formaldehyde and any other organic compounds from the air into carbon dioxide and water. It removes multiple pollutants permanently and completely.
Compared with conventional activated carbon absorption technology, LCD has no saturation issues; the performance could maintain the initial efficiency and stability across the product’s lifetime. The catalyst’s physical and chemical properties will not change or degrade during the decomposition process. This technology is long term, low maintenance, and cost saving.
Air Player combines the LCD technology with HEPA (high-efficiency particulate air) technology to decompose toxic elements and remove PM2.5 from the air. Users can monitor and control the air-quality figures on their mobile phone, even when away from home.
