The Men Nucleus jacket is designed for the serious alpine skier that values lightweight comfort and sophisticated aesthetics. The jacket uses a new bonded down box construction in critical warms zones in the front and back of the jacket which minimizes the weight of the insulation and maximise warmth retention performance. The goal behind the product innovation was not only to use exceptionally lightweight fabrics with maximum weight to durability ratio, but also to examine new construction technologies that can help further reduce the weight of the jacket without losing performance. The bonded box construction also increases the weather proofness of the jacket by avoiding untapped stitched seams normally used in down jackets. The lightest, fully equipped ski jacket (only 950 g, Size 52) follows the principle of “designed by construction”. The bonded box construction is made into a design element through laser cut out shapes that show the inside bonded panels on the front part and back part of the jacket. In addition, the design emphasizes the jacket`s lightweight characteristics. Key features are called out through color pops.
