The QUAD aims to continue our streak of highly successful dive computers, and our design goal was for it to surpass its predecessors in terms of user friendliness. The result is an innovative and intuitive user interface in a computer which can be worn either on the right or the left arm with equal ease. Four buttons placed in the four corners of the mostly square case allow maximum flexibility during surface operations, for easy access to logbook, dive planner, settings and more. During the dive, when interfacing with the computer is limited to accessing alternate information in two fields of the display, the computer switches to a specular button arrangement, turning the buttons into two sets of top and bottom buttons, one on the left side and one on the right side, performing the same functions. Hence wearing the dive computer on the right or the left arm becomes irrelevant in terms of accessing the buttons without covering the display with the hand.
