The Upper Crust aims to explore the original states of food. Through traditional preparation methods of Taiwanese dishes passed down through generations, we want people to understand the process involved in transforming various ingredients to these dishes. Utilizing anthropomorphistic illustrations, we aim to build our Upper Crust dedicated to Taiwanese gourmet.

A gourmet dish requires lengthy preparation time and a complex preparation process. Take the oysters used in Oyster vermicelli for example: from setting up the oyster racks to tying the oyster strings (stringing together oyster shells with holes drilled through them) then setting the spat or seed oyster to harvesting the mature oysters and then cleaning the harvested oyster, only after all this will we get the main ingredient for oyster vermicelli.
