This is a book interior illustration for Oscar Wilde’s “The Selfish Giant.” I drew it digitally with Adobe Photoshop. I chose this story because I was deeply moved when I read it. The giant was so selfish that the Spring refused to come to his garden. As a result, the pear trees in his garden were covered with snow and ice. When the giant stopped being selfish and allow the children to play in his garden, spring finally came. It is not only a change of season, but also a salvation. People need to love even if their lives are full of difficulties. Everything just become wonderful when you open your heart to the world.
