Deutsche Telekom connects people. Not just through networks and mobile technologies, but also through their experiences. The question is: What will we connect with tomorrow and what kind of experience will that be? The answer is close – close to the body. It’s the interface between fashion and technology. To explore this booming market of the future and shape it while it is young, Telekom has teamed up with the agency to launch an initiative: Fashion Fusion.
Fashion Fusion is an ideas competition which goal is to encourage creative minds from fashion and technology to collaborate, take on and tear down the fashion status quo with groundbreaking concepts. With coaches, who are renowned specialists from the nexus of cutting-edge fashion and technology, Deutsche Telekom empowers finalists to develop quality prototypes of their concepts in a Lab in Berlin. Afterwards, they presented them at an exclusive award show during the Berlin Fashion Week. A jury of top-class industry representatives then selected the winners.
With Fashion Fusion Deutsche Telekom becomes the first worldwide telecommunications company that dives into wearable tech.
