Enveloping, suggestive, warm and at the same time technological; Nuez is born from the idea of creating a modulating seat as if it were a sheet of paper. Nuez’s shell – made from injected thermoplastic – is expressed as a flexible surface that embraces the body when seated and whose shape presents the same folders in the corners as a folded sheet of paper, conveying softness and materiality.
Nuez offers a double texture: that of the shell – formed by three-dimensional undulations that give it movement – and that of the upholstery, which also involves complex and studied manufacturing, an authentic innovation. The development of Nuez presented the challenge of making two materials as diverse as thermoplastic and fabric establish a harmonious and rich dialogue.
