Vihor is economic LED luminaire for public lighting with extremely short pay beck time. Single housing can receive one or two LED modules. Thanks to modularity of the standard lenses, a large number of light distributions are available. This way, the luminaire is able to satisfy all demands that can appear in the low frequency street lighting, parking lots, cycling paths and pedestrian zones. The housing is made of Aluminum and whole luminaire is 99% recyclable. Its housing is divided in two segments, one containing LEDs and another containing gear. These two segments are separated with an air bridge preventing the heat transfer from LED modules to the gear, enabling a larger quantity of air to circle around the part with LED, increasing heat dissipation. This enables safe and maintenance- free operation in high ambience temperatures. Complete control gear accessories is mounted on a doors that are connected with the rest of the housing with detachable hinge. This way, municipalities of developing countries can install luminaires with fixed light output, and after implementation of centralized lighting system, luminaires can be upgraded in field by replacement of control gear.
