The hob adapts to different cooking needs. A large cooking surface consists of four separate heating elements that can be vertically connected by the bridge function. Integrated sensors detect the position and size of the pot, and automatically connect individual heaters to a larger cooking zone if necessary. Spacious cooking area is indicated by a discrete pattern that protects the surface from damage. Interactive and printed graphics indicate active heating zones and synchronously follow pot movements. User interface is integrated along the entire width of the hob. The smooth surface features a linear groove that separates the controls from the cooking area and indicates slider touch interaction. Extra functions support the brand proposition Life simplified. When the heat zone is switched on, the Smart Timer automatically starts counting the cooking time even if the timer is not set. Integrated sensors allow the IqCook programs to automatically maintain the optimum temperature and preserve the vitamins, and to prevent burning and boiling over.
