COCO Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Paddu Pan is an endeavour to bring back the cast iron cookware to the main stream in the Indian market where nonstick cookware is more prevalent. It is manufactured using shell moulding technique. Paddu is a traditional south Indian spicy and sweet dish(round pan cakes) made from rice and black lentils batter with added salt, onions, green chillies, grated coconut, coriander leaves and cumin in spicy version. Jaggery is added to the rice batter in the sweet version and cooked in the pan cavities using cooking oil and clarified butter. The pan design is simple, solid in form and has contemporary touch, which is inviting and appealing with rounded corners and fillets. The thin and tight curve profile of the handles evoke a sense of lightness and sturdiness by reducing the weight of the product visually. The bottom of the pan is designed to be energy efficient and compatible with LPG, Induction, electrical, traditional wood & charcoal stoves. The thought is to make users bond emotionally with product and pass it on to the next generation in the family.
