The inspiration for the OWP styles 2175 and 1434 originates from the art of paper folding. During the idea development process, prototypes were made from paper – with their mountain and valley folds combining into an exciting contrast of light and shadow. Translated into the dimensions of a spectacle frame, this creates a vibrant play of reflections that take on a different appearance depending on the surface design: a polished, glossy finish accentuates the edges of the reflected light in an almost jewellery-like fashion, whereas a mat finish highlights the soft transitions and subtle shadows. On its delicate stainless-steel front, style 1434 continues the unique paper-folding concept to complement the elegant shape. Style 2175 delightfully harmonises the temple design with exciting acetate materials to create a sophisticated look.
