The basic idea of ANDY WOLF EYEWEAR’s first rimless glasses collection was to ease the tension between the visible and the hidden. Inspired by architectural elements, the design combines metal, acetate, and glass with puristic ease. The lack of rim enables the frame to be reduced to its essential form, allowing the focuses to be on the acetate nose bridge that is characteristic of the collection, and leaving enough leeway for it to merge with the face without being perceived as a foreign body. The bridge and temple also feature highlights of colour-coordinated nickel silver and reflect the clear and elegant design language. All acetate elements are elaborately milled from the finest material from Italy. Unlike other manufacturers, we use 8mm-thick acetate for this. This means we can manufacture everything in one piece without the need for additional bonded joints on the nose wings. After acetate and metal frames we believe that a redesign of rimless frames is the next big glasses trend.
