PerfectSense – look, feel and robustness in impressive

lacquered boards are much more than conventional melamine-faced MDF boards:
They are manufactured using a sophisticated lacquering process that is matched
with precision to the surface. This product category combines visual perfection
with the perfect feel of modern surfaces. PerfectSense Gloss impresses with its
particular relief effect and smooth surface, while PerfectSense Matt feels warm
and velvety and stands out thanks to its no-fingerprint feature.

The PerfectSense surfaces finished with layers of varnish are suitable
for high mechanical loads and are particularly scratch-resistant and resilient.
On the one hand this is good for the end consumer, who can enjoy premium
surfaces for a long time. On the other hand the high resistance and strength
properties also provide the fabricator with security during processing and


With the first two new finishes for the innovative PerfectSense
lacquered boards, EGGER has responded to current trends. Matt, as the
counter-trend to high gloss, is experiencing a major surge especially in the
area of exclusive interior designs. Traditionally high matt surfaces are
associated with high value and are predominantly used in premium end furniture
production. The superior quality of PerfectSense Matt differentiates it from
other matt furniture surfaces. Touching the matt surfaces is expressly allowed:

Gloss clearly stands out from other high-gloss surfaces due to its smooth
surface and relief effect. In order to reach such a high quality in appearance
as well as durability, the melamine-faced MDF decor board is first sanded
repeatedly, and then painted in several layers in a highly technical procedure.
