SparkPOS, a tech company headquartered in Shanghai China, produced this next generation of Point of Sales terminals this year. It featured two large capacitive touch screens that produced unprecedented ease of use to both cashiers and retail/restaurant customers.
This terminal feature one 17.3″ capacitive screen on one side and 13.3″ screen on the other. Each screen is a stand-alone computer with independent CPU and memories, thus capable of deploying high demand front-end applications and multiple OS including Windows and Android.
The user can configure either screen to face the customer or the cashier. Including a unique invention with pending patent approval, SparkPOS can be turned into a self-service-kiosk so that customer can complete transactions using any form of mobile payment while no cashier is available.
Other than its elegant look, this device brings packs of mobile internet features, upgrading its merchants to online sales and social networking marketing venues. By installing one of these devices in their restaurants, managers enable their customer ordering products via their mobiles and later publishing/recommending coupons onto their social networks.
