The hybrid centric gripper GPD5000IL combines high economic and environmental standards by being produced of 100% recycled aluminum and steel with an energy share of approximately 28% solar power. This ecological claim is also reflected in the high energy efficiency in the operation of the gripper. The integrated control, consisting of a control module and micro valve terminal, whose innovative approach significantly shortens the path of the drive medium compressed air between the valve plug and the drive piston of the gripper, thus providing an approx. 20% higher efficiency than comparable conventional pneumatic grippers. The use of seals according to protection class IP 67 and corrosion-resistant materials, for the first time as integrated parts in this product segment emphasizes the long-term approach of the product. The visible steel guide points out the sturdiness, reliability and precission of the product. The clear, reduced formal language structures the product into the clearly visible steel guide and the housing.
