The TBP 8 is the first nutrunner that combines a pulsing unit powered by an electrical engine. One of the mayor customer needs in assembly is operator ergonomics -reduction of weight and reaction force. This technological innovation gives the user a higher ergonomic comfort due to a reduction of reaction forces to almost zero compared to conventional technology. It allows assembly to be more flexible, use higher torque without additional operational aiding accessories and having full control and reporting of the assembly process. The built in intelligence collects data from the process and also control the wanted target torque making it a high precision assembly tool. Materials are chosen for serviceability and durability in an industrial environment such as car and heavy duty vehicle production. The design of the TBP 8 is an extension of the developed design language for wireless intelligent products platform.
