The Kii THREE sets itself apart through a sparse geometrical form language. Strict reliance on only straight lines and 90 or 180 degree arcs produces the illusion of two interlocking C shaped shells, one glossy white plastic, the other black anodised brushed aluminium. This becomes a distinguishing feature of the loudspeaker. The polyurethane cabinet is self-contained while the aluminium trim serves both as a contrast and to visually integrate the black loudspeaker drive units. Thanks to several technical innovations the speakers delivers all the power of a much more complex hi-fi system in a highly compact form factor. Compared to traditional loudspeaker designs the Kii THREE’s acoustical behaviour makes it significantly less sensitive to room acoustics and easier to integrate into a living space. The reduced form language leaves the path open for future products and accessories with a strongly consistent visual identity.
