In warm weather or when we exercise, regular plaster adhesives can trap air and water, feeling uncomfortable and potentially causing inflammation of our wound. Breathing Band-Aid keeps air circulating beneath the plaster, and keeps the wound cool, clean and dry so it can heal faster.

Within the Breathing Band-Aid are a ‘cooling ring’ and a ‘humidity sensing ring’. The cooling ring keeps the temperature of the Band-Aid lower than the ambient temperature. It also keeps air circulating around the wound. The air hole on the surface allows the Band-Aid to breathe more easily. The humidity sensing ring turns red when it detects a high level of humidity around the skin. This indicates that it is time to change the Band-Aid.
