North Dortmund isn’t usually regarded as one of the culinary capitals of the world! Even so, it’s a district which thrives on young cuisine featuring diverse ethnic influences. An alternative restaurant scene has evolved between backstreet bars and colourful cafés which has much to be proud of and is as international as the residents of the neighbourhood.
This is a restaurant guide, recipe book and an affectionate study of a unique location all rolled into one.
