Taiwan’s native fruits and vegetables are rich in nutritional value, our project illustrates 12 types of these native fruits and vegetables using exploded-view drawings, namely: Kakorot, Taiwan Ebony, Nest Fern, Jujube, Yumberry, Mountain Litsea, Depressed Orange, Ochro, Black Nightshade, Jelly Fig, Formosa Lambsquarters and Wild-Rice. These vegetables are divided into four booklets – each a separate season, providing an introduction on their structure with an illustration book, seed card, recipe, and lenticular images integrated into the booklet. We hope to establish a firm understanding of Taiwan’s native fruits and vegetables in the public by pairing popular science illustrations with our theme.
