CLOU is a Beijing-based team of architects led by Jan F. Clostermann and Christian Taeubert. We embrace the multi-faceted expressions of contemporary life and therefore our designs revolve around polyvalent spaces. Our enlightened clients are partners in our endeavours to create contemporary typologies for a rapidly evolving world. They have called CLOU’s architecture both experimental and pragmatic, expressive and efficient. By repurposing and recombining we have the freedom to connect people in new ways and save resources at the same time. Our cheerful buildings return public space to the city. The designs often include terraces that lead to public roof gardens accommodating rabbit sculptures, playgrounds, or running tracks.
