Founded in 1989 and listed on Euronext since 1999, the AURES Group manufactures EPOS systems and related peripherals. Its PC-based hardware and open-system equipment provides management and till functions to all points-of-sale and points-of-service, including specialist food and non-food stores, retail outlets, superstores and catering and hospitality. With corporate sales over €64 million for 2014, the AURES Group has global presence, with its head office in France, subsidiaries in the UK, Germany, Australia and the USA – and a network of distributors and resellers in 50+ countries. Complementary to the POS activities of the Group, the ‘’OEM Equipment & Systems Department’’ works closely with systems integrators and suppliers, providing them with complete product lines of hardware elements and sub-equipment for industrial and digital display applications.Over the past 23 years and more, many of you have shown your trust in and loyalty to AURES. I am mindful that, without you, AURES would not have become what it is today and I should like to thank you on behalf of our group. During that period, the small SARL AURES has become an internationally-renowned group, thanks to the design aesthetics and the quality of its point-of-sale (EPOS) terminals. In early 2012, we decided it was time to continue the adventure and we acquired the J2 Retail Systems Group, whose head office is located in the United Kingdom. The AURES Group is now positioned as one of the leading global manufacturer of POS terminals and systems, with a consolidated turnover of over €50 M and potential annual sales of over 40,000 systems!Early 2013 provided the opportunity for us to once again demonstrate our ability to design products that are radically different but which meet real market requirements. In 2005, when we equipped our Odyssé point-of-sale terminal with interchangeable colour clips to match the style and brand identity of stores, we anticipated the demand for colour-coding:  with almost all of our competitors now confirming our approach, it has become clear that the addition of multiple colours to EPOS hardware is a must-have!sango, the new integrated touchscreen terminal byAURES is in line with this strategy and is positioned as the worthy successor to Odyssé: its contemporary, fluid and light design has already been recognised by prestigious international awards, the IF Product Design Awards, the Red Dot Awards 2013 and the 2014“Observeur du Design” label. We listened to your comments and requests and decided to free up space under the touchscreen of this new POS system.  The results are surprising!
