As a supplement to our latest article about the Helsinki Design Week 2017, the Red Dot 21 team has compiled some tips for visiting the Finnish metropolis. From hotels, bars and restaurants to showrooms, we will show you how to make your stay an unforgettable experience. GLO Hotel Art

Nounou Design is an address for fancy gifts. Here, the designer Anu Penttinen produces handmade decorative glass products. The design shop and showroom is located in the heart of the Helsinki Design District.



The Finnish National Gallery houses the oldest and largest art collection in the country. During “Helsinki Design Week”, the Ateneum is also showing an exhibition of works by the Finnish architect and designer Alvar Aalto.
