Domaine des Andéols, Saint-Saturnin-Lés Apt
The design hotel Domaine des Andéols is located in Provence in the hinterland of South France, at about an hour’s distance from Avignon. The building with clear lines and geometrical spaces accommodates an impressive art collection. Hotel owners Olivier and Patrizia Massart have spent the last 20 years collecting paintings, photographs, furniture and objects. Each of the 19 villas is designed in a unique and different style and is inspired either by some work of art, a colour or a theme. The outdoor area with its pool and sculptures provides you with a fantastic view of the surrounding landscape, whereas the exquisite hotel restaurant “La Maison des Saveurs” gives you an opportunity to enjoy your meal made of fresh ingredients from the hotel garden.
Hotel Sezz, Saint-Tropez
The beautiful city of Saint-Tropez, famous for its harbours with numerous luxury yachts, lies in the heart of Côte d’Azur. Shahe Kalaidjian and Christophe Pillet are responsible for this attractive design hotel. It is the second hotel project that has seen their collaborative work. They first created their own design language in Hotel Sezz in Paris, which they further implemented during their stay in Saint-Tropez to come up with an ultimate luxury accommodation. The light-flooded hotel is located at Route des Salins, and has 37 guest rooms, surrounded by a lushly wooded park.
Le Cinq Codet, Paris
The design hotel Le Cinq is housed in the former building of the French Telecom, which was masterfully refurbished by the designer Jean-Philippe Nuel. The hotel is situated in one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods of the city, relatively peaceful and only a few minutes of walking distance from the most important attractions such as The Invalides, Rodin Museum or the Eiffel Tower. With its unique architecture in the shape of a bow of an ocean liner, the building sits enthroned over the traditional Haussmann architecture of the city. Each of the 67 spacious rooms resembles an artistically designed loft. An excellent museum-quality collection displays well-known works and design furniture, e.g. monumental photographs by Jean-Pierre Porcher, tailor-made furniture by Elizabeth Garouste, Tom Dixon and by Patricia Urquiola.
Bohemia Suites & Spa, Gran Canaria, Playa del Ingles
The design hotel Bohemia Suites & Spa is a sophisticated lifestyle oasis on the Canary Island of Gran Canaria. It is a secluded, luxury destination offering adequate privacy to relax in tranquility. A once decrepit building, is now a modern hotel by the sea thanks to the comprehensive refurbishment it has undergone. The rooftop restaurant of the hotel, which has a spacious indoor and outdoor area, allows you a panoramic and breathtaking view of the Atlantic and the rolling dunes of Maspalomas. The 67 rooms and suites of Bohemia Suites & Spa offer the best possible living experience, where the bedrooms smoothly transition into the balcony.
Nakar Hotel, Majorca
Nakar Hotel offers you a pure and unadulterated experience of Majorca! The hotel with its 57 rooms has been completely made of local materials, so much that even the owners, head chef, architect and the interior designer are all old, settled Majorcans. The hotel is situated centrally in one of the most popular shopping streets of the Balearic Islands. On this street, you will find exciting galleries and museums, fine dining restaurants and bars apart from the numerous boutiques of renowned brands. The hotel restaurant that shares space with the hotel bar “Cuit” on the 8th floor, serves authentic Majorcan cuisine. Just like the roof terrace with an infinity pool, it too offers a stunning view of the old town and the sea. The rooms designed in a modern style are all uniquely equipped and either have a Jacuzzi or a bath tub, as well as a balcony or a private terrace.
Altis Belém Hotel & Spa, Lisbon
Altis Belém Hotel & Spa in Belém, near the “Tejo” river, has an impressive architecture and a one-of-its-kind Michelin-star gourmet restaurant. Having a prime location, it is situated only a few minutes from some of the city’s most popular museums and attractions. The illuminating wall panels caress your senses and take you on a journey between the Orient and America. You can enjoy traditional and exotic dishes from all over the world in the restaurant “Feitoria” which also has a wine bar. The exclusive BSpa by Karin Herzog also offers traditional oriental treatments in addition to the oxygen therapies. The roof terrace with a pool offers a splendid view of the beautiful city.
