Event Details

What will people think about today’s design in 100 years? We will most likely never know. In order to make it easier for future historians, diverse designers collected items which were buried in a time capsule at west London, the new site of the Design Museum. Besides an iPhone 4s, and a tin of anchovies, a miniature of the Lockheed Lounge was buried. Kenneth Grange, who has influenced the lives of Britons with his designs for more than 50 years, chose a Cylinda-Line coffee pot by Arne Jacobsen. Photo: Ben Terrett, License: CC BY-NC-ND 2.0
