Despite very different backgrounds and lives, the two graduate communication designers Johannes Plass and Heinrich Paravicini teamed up in 1994 because of their fascination with innovative design. All that time ago, they turned what was a simple art college newspaper into the renowned avant-garde design magazine that MUTABOR is today. That magazine formed the cornerstone of the success story of today’s synonymous Hamburg design agency, founded in 1998. Mutabor works in interdisciplinary teams for brands such as adidas, AIRBUS, BMW, Clariant, DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga and HSV, and has already received over 350 international awards. It is one of the leading agencies in the area of brand design.
