What do you particularly like about
your own award-winning product?

A totally linear shape which renders the
technology almost invisible.

Is there a designer that you
particularly admire?

Nature. Over millions of years it has
developed solutions for the widest
possible range of different problems –
from simple colour combinations to
complex statically optimised structures.

How do you define design quality?

Only if aesthetic, practical and economic
functionality attain the right equilibrium,
can design be called good.

What do you see as being the biggest
challenges in your industry at present?

In future design requirements, ecological
and economic functionality will merge.
This development represents both a challenge
and an opportunity.
