What are the qualities a successful
communication designer must have?
A good communication designer must have the ability to visualise who the sender is and do so in such a way that the recipient subconsciously registers which company or organisation is communicating. It is a very subtle and effective way to brand organisations – they don’t need to push their brand that hard if they make strategic use of their brand typeface.

What else would you like to learn?
When we design, we do so on the basis of empathy and experience, but not scientific knowledge or psychological insight. I would like to learn more about how people actually react psychologically to the things we design. Is what we design being perceived as we intended?
