The unisex, inhouse-manufactured Defakto Vektor builds a bridge between classical 1950s design and modern minimalist aesthetics. It offers a retro-futuristic design embodied by a convex plexiglas dial circumnavigated by manually shaped hands. The finely drawn indexation and the thin, rounded hands with disc-like hearts make up the modern, puristic character of the Defakto Vektor. Its thin, two-piece 39 mm stainless steel watchcase is polished on top and back, while being brushed on the side to achieve a subtle interplay of surfaces and to highlight the Defakto Vektor’s flat body. The built in automatic movement Miyota 9015 (made in Japan) offers a power reserve of 42 hours and displays time via its elegant, smoothly-rotating sweeping second hand, running constantly through the curved space of the watch.
