Max Millies from Hamburg has been working as a team with Marius Lohmann from Sundern since 2008. In 2012, the creative director moved from Jung von Matt/Spree to BBDO Proximity Berlin. His work for clients such as Mercedes-Benz, smart, Sparkasse Bank, True Fruits, NBC Universal and the International Society for Human Rights has won a multitude of national and international awards including six Cannes Lions, ten ADC Nails and a golden Effie.
What do you understand by good communication design?
Communication design should never be an end in itself. Its primary aim is to convey a message. If the result also looks good, even better.
What inspires you?
You can find inspiration everywhere. In nature, art, popular culture or even on the toilet. But, as Atari founder Nolan Bushnell once said: “The ultimate inspiration is the deadline.”
With whom would you like to work?
