Why did you become a communication designer?
Our constant aim is to be “caring designers” for people living in a tougher environment than we do. Although our design activities might not bring about many changes in society, we will continue to strive …, if there is even the slightest chance of introducing small, positive changes for such people.
What does the future of communication design look like?
We will have increasing access to other people, but for a much shorter period of time. That means public attention will not last very long. Designers will therefore have to develop very innovative, influential and memorable designs that will stay in people’s minds after a short time. That will lead to more visually stimulating design that will reach a greater number of people more easily and at minimal cost.
